The centrepiece of the objets we currently have for sale is a notable collection of the work of James Tassie, the 18th Century Scottish sculptor and pupil of Josiah Wedgwood, who invented a method of moulding glass paste into cameos and intaglios (see ‘Tassies’ on the navigation on the right) but we also have a wide variety of other sculptural work, oriental porcelain and ivories.
